YOUR DATA

PRIVACY POLICY

This policy explains what VI Access collects when you submit a launch-access request, why we use it, and the choices available to you.

Last updated: July 14, 2026

Who operates this service

VI Access is an independent, fan-operated launch-access service. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Rockstar Games, Take-Two Interactive, PlayStation or Xbox.

Information we collect

We collect only the information needed to register and protect your request.

  • The email address, platform, edition and language you submit
  • A request ID and submission timestamp
  • Security signals used to prevent abuse, including a short-lived hashed IP bucket and Cloudflare Turnstile verification data
  • Email delivery status and the provider message ID

How we use information

  • Register and confirm your launch-access request
  • Send useful platform-specific launch and official pre-order guidance
  • Prevent automated abuse, duplicate requests and email bombing
  • Troubleshoot delivery and service reliability

Legal basis

We process request details to take the steps you ask us to take and provide the requested service. Abuse prevention, security and reliability are based on our legitimate interest in protecting the service and its users. Where consent is required for an optional update, you may withdraw it at any time.

Service providers

We use Supabase for database storage, Resend for transactional email, Cloudflare Turnstile for bot protection and Vercel for hosting. These providers process data only to deliver and secure the service under their own data-protection terms.

Retention

Launch-access request records are kept only as long as needed to provide the service and are scheduled for deletion no later than 90 days after the November 19, 2026 launch, unless a longer period is required for security or legal reasons. Hashed rate-limit records expire within 24 hours. Delivery logs may remain for the limited period provided by Resend.

Your choices

You may ask us to access, correct or delete your request, or stop future emails. Contact us from the registered email address so we can reasonably verify the request.

Cookies and transfers

We do not use advertising cookies or sell personal information. Essential security technology, including Turnstile, may use browser storage or cookies. Our providers may process data in other countries using the safeguards described in their terms.
